A new DVD available free of charge from Agilent Technologies provides the results of the latest industry study on defect levels.
The DVD is of a recent Agilent-hosted live-via-satellite talk by well known Senior Test Strategy Consultant, Stig Oresjo, who gave an update on a widely referenced one billion solder joint study conducted by Agilent in 1999.
Oresjo shared results from latest studies on test effectiveness as well as industry defect levels, including data from more than 3.7 billion solder joints.
The session was held in conjunction with Agilent's North American debut of its latest Medalist x6000 AXI system - the industry's fastest 3D inline X-ray solution.
