Analyser exercises PCI Express protocols
Agilent Technologies has introduced the industry's first complete and integrated x1 to x16 protocol analyser and exerciser solution for PCI Express (PCIe) 2.0.
The TS-5040 is a scalable system in a 0.75m rack that is ideal for testing automotive body control and safety electronic modules with just enough test capabilities to minimise cost of test.
The new Agilent TS-5040 automotive functional test system has the flexibility to perform stand-alone RF tests, such as remote keyless entry and tyre pressure monitoring systems, as well as a combination of low-frequency (AC and DC) and high-frequency (RF) tests specifically targeted to the automotive market.
This test platform is also compatible with ISM band industrial and consumer applications from 100MHz to 3GHz for remote control transmitters/receivers, remote metering, remote temperature sensoring and RFID.
"The new Agilent TS-5040 is designed to meet low-cost manufacturing needs within the growing automotive market", says Eng-Hooi Ang, Automotive Product Segment manager for Agilent's Measurement Systems Division.
Providing greater flexibility and full use of the system, the Agilent TS-5040 offers the option of an Express Connect or a MacPanel interface connector assembly, which serves as the main interface between the UUT and the system.
The Agilent TS-5040 automotive functional test system is available now at a starting price of US $30,000.
