The removable connector holder offers flexible connector choice and can be attached to the multichannel device while the instrument measures another device.
With the new LAN and USB interfaces, the system offers optimised throughput and data transfer for post-processing.
For compatibility with existing equipment, the GPIB interface is also included.
The multiport power meter enables fast measurement solutions for all multiport devices; for example multiplexers, PON splitters, wavelength switches and ROADMs.

The Agilent N7744A and N7745A optical multiport power meters will be available for ordering from 1st February 2008 at a starting price of US $9500 for the four-port and $14,500 for the eight-port power meter.
