Aries Electronics has introduced the first antistatic version of a tool that provides a fast, easy and inexpensive means of straightening the pins of DIP IC devices Designated the DIP-R-Sizer, this new Aries tool provides static protection while straightening the pins on 0.3in (7.62mm) or 0.6in (15.24mm) centre DIP ICs

The tool eliminates the need for antistatic devices or complex, expensive pin straightening equipment.

In use, the device to be straightened is placed on the inside of one side the tool or the other, depending on centre spacing.

One easy squeeze brings the handles together and brings the leads into a tolerance of 0.32in (8.12mm) or 0.62in (15.74mm).

The lightweight, easy to use tool is manufactured of Stat-Kon PBT.

Pricing of the DIP-R-Sizer starts at $23.90 in quantities up to 24.

Delivery is from stock.
