A novel high-temperature lead-free Correct-A-Chip adapter enables users to upgrade from DIP devices to SOJ or SOIC devices with no PCB rework or redesign.

A novel high-temperature lead-free Correct-A-Chip adapter enables users to upgrade from DIP devices to SOJ or SOIC devices with no PCB rework or redesign The new Series 350000-HT adapters from Aries Electronics are offered on 0.300, 0.400 and 0.600in centres and with 14, 16, 18, 20, or 24 pins

They can withstand operating temperature up to 210C.

The new adapters can be finished as individual units or in panellised form for automated pick-and-place mounting of devices by the customer or by Aries.

The PCB of these new adapters is 0.062in Polyimid, rated at 260C, with copper traces on both sides.

Pins are 360-degree hard brass alloy with tin-nickel plating.

Pricing for the Series 350000-HT Correct-A-Chip adapter starts at $6.50 per unit.

Delivery is 2 to 4 weeks ARO.
