Power amplifier simplifies machine
control
The latest addition to the DigitalPower Block amplifier family is a 190V, 7A power management component.
The latest addition to the DigitalPower Block amplifier family is a 190V, 7A power management component The patented DigitalPower Block (DPB) technology combines three half bridges, gate drive, and A/D with a DSP for voltage and current control allowing the designer to focus on the application-specific machine control
The DigitalPower Block incorporates Agile's DSP-based DPCore technology, which supports numerous DC motor types, including brushed, brushless sensored, brushless sensorless, flux vector induction, servo and stepper.
DPComm uses a digital communication interface that allows designers to control the DigitalPower Block amplifier.
The 190V three-phase DigitalPower Block amplifier provides one key advantage over existing models in the amplifier family - the ability to use a rectified 120V AC (50-60Hz) voltage source to power the DC motor.
