In announcing the facility expansion, Aitech President Roger Rowe commented: "This significant increase in the size and scope of our world headquarters here in the United States signals an ongoing commitment to providing our North American customer base with everything it needs in the way of COTS and other harsh environment embedded services support".
"This expansion includes product and subsystem development, technical support and long-term program and lifecycle management and follow-through".
The expanded Chatsworth facility complements the company's extensive research, design and production capabilities in Israel.
The company also has technical support and sales facilities and representatives throughout the world.
Doug Patterson, recently named Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, commented: "We pride ourselves on having truly global reach with very local support".
"We fully understand that the North American market continues to represent the greatest potential for our unique COTS and harsh environment offerings, including space-qualified product where Aitech has made several successful inroads on low earth orbit satellites, NASA's Space Shuttle and the International Space Station (ISS)".
