The new Sanken SAPM01 Series of temperature-compensated audio transistors are now available from Allegro MicroSystems Europe.

The new Sanken SAPM01 Series of temperature-compensated audio transistors are now available from Allegro MicroSystems Europe.

The 150V P-type and N-type devices use Sanken's LEXAM (legend of excellent audio mosfet) technology to offer highly accurate and responsive temperature compensation through the use of an on-chip diode.

In addition, they feature built-in push/pull circuitry that eliminates the need to trim the idling current in audio amplifiers using external components.

Absolute maximum ratings for the SAPM01 Series are: drain-source voltage 150V; gate-source voltage +/-20V; continuous drain current +/-20A; and pulsed drain current +/-80A.

Maximum power dissipation is 150W at 25C.

Sanken semiconductor products are available in Europe via Allegro MicroSystems Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanken Electric, and its network of distributors.

In the UK, Sanken audio products are available from Magnatec, part of the Semelab Group.
