The GSI Lumonics SVST 8300 SPI automated optical inspection system is optimised for high-throughput pre- and post-solder paste inspection of PCB assemblies.

The GSI Lumonics SVST 8300 SPI automated optical inspection system is optimised for high-throughput pre- and post-solder paste inspection of PCB assemblies and also performs component placement inspection The AOI system uses 3D height data to measure solder paste volume, which is the most important variable for producing high quality solder joints

The SVST 8300 SPI is designed to meet the most demanding cycle time requirements with 100% inspection efficiency and provides excellent inspection data accuracy and reliability via the system's patented 3D scanning laser.

The easy-to-use SVST 8300 SPI is also designed to accommodate very large boards (up to 610 x 660mm).

Alliance Sales (Europe) is also supporting GSI Lumonics' SVST 8200 SPI system which is a small footprint, high reliability AOI product capable of inspecting panels up to 254 x 406mm.

The system also provides offline programming and CAD support software for simplified setup.
