Alpha Micro Components has introduced the iTegno 3000 GPRS modem in response to growing demand for flexible Internet connectivity for everyone The iTegno 3000, a multifunction stand-alone modem, benefits the user with SMS, voice calls, wireless Internet, e-mail and fax in one device and is a cost-effective way to obtain real-time information at a maximum speed of 85.6Kbit/s using GPRS high-speed packet-switched data transmission technology

GPRS is deployed over GSM networks without the restriction of local Wi-LAN "hotspots".

Users need only pay for the volume of data sent and received with lower cost for longer connection.

Its users can receive wireless Internet access anywhere at anytime.

iTegno 3000 is compatible with all laptops and PCs installed with Win 98/2000/Me/XP and the package includes a USB interface available in most host terminals making it easy to install and connect.

This pocket-sized device needs no batteries or AC charging.

iTegno uses an embedded antenna facilitating the safe usage, transportation and storage of the device.

The modem includes all the user needs for its operation including a single ear headset with a microphone, an installation CD and a USB cable.
