Refurbishment for Fuji assembly kit
A comprehensive refurbishment capability for Fuji surface-mount assembly machines is now being offered on a Europe-wide basis by pre-owned equipment supplier alternativeSMT.
A comprehensive refurbishment capability for Fuji surface-mount assembly machines is now being offered on a Europe-wide basis by pre-owned equipment supplier alternativeSMT.
alternativeSMT's knowledge of the electronics manufacturing sector coupled with their team of highly skilled Fuji-trained engineers results in an unrivalled capability for meeting the most stringent demands of manufacturers.
The company's highly experienced team of engineers rebuild and overhaul all machines to the most exacting standards.
In addition to cosmetic rebuilding and repainting, each machine goes through a 39-point checking and calibration service, which includes parameters over and above those in the original manufacturer's specification.
Fuji products covered by the alternativeSMT service include CP4 and CP6 Series Chip Shooters and the QP242 and IP Series of pick-and-place machines for handling 'exotic' components of different shapes and sizes.
For the latter machines, alternative SMT has developed its own placement and measuring techniques coupled with a final inspection procedure that covers all mechanical aspects and proper calibration with exceptional levels of accuracy.
At alternativeSMT's London headquarters, potential customers can see live demonstrations of the refurbished equipment, with simulated production of their own PCBs.
The company also offers comprehensive training, installation, maintenance and full field support, with extended warranties that are the equivalent of the original manufacturer's guarantees.
The Fuji refurbishment operation is managed by alternativeSMT's recently appointed Director of Engineering, Llew Simmons, a former Fuji engineer with many years' experience as a specialist in surface-mount processes.
