Handheld weight measurement and datalogging
Amalgamated Instrument Co has announced some enhancements to its HH4-WT handheld load/force/pressure meter.
Previously, instrumentation needed to be returned to the manufacturer for an upgrade.
The newer models in the Large Digit range have a serial port installed on the main PCB.
With AIC supplied software, a user can access and download the latest level of operating software across the net.
Large Digit displays are available for applications as diverse as timing, rate/total, weighing applications, real time clocks and temperature indication and monitoring.
The displays are available with digit sizes from 20mm to a massive 200mm.
Some of the large display models can have either LED or electromagnetic "flip flop" characters.
Special application software can also be developed to meet particular situations and loaded without the need to completely disengage the instrumentation.
Update, maintenance and special software loads are now easy to schedule and perform.
Downtime is minimised and users are able to be confident that their equipment is up to date.
