The new AMP Netconnect 610XC Category 6 crossconnect system from Tyco Electronics uses an innovative shielding technique to provide a high level of performance in the same footprint as standard crossconnects The shielded crosstalk barrier for isolating individual conductor pairs results in performance that exceeds Category 6 component requirements for both factory-terminated crossconnect cable assembly patching and direct Category 6 cable terminations
Installation and layout are simplified by the fact that the 610XC mounts in the same footprint and uses the same installation techniques as the company's standard 110Connect XC system, allowing highly repeatable results to be achieved.
The system also uses the same labels and labelling software as the 110Connect XC system.
