A new portable SCR and diode tester from the delightfully named Amps Abundant tests current leakage up to 3000V.

A new portable SCR and diode tester from the delightfully named Amps Abundant tests current leakage up to 3000V Designed for testing SCRs and power diodes, the Model M3K tests both reverse current leakage and gate triggering on SCRs

This portable tester can be used by maintenance personnel to test suspect power semiconductors in their equipment.

This unit uses standard 110V AC power and weighs less than 3kg.

The M3K tester incorporates a phone jack for connection to an oscilloscope for observation of the reverse leakage against voltage on the x-y plot.

The tester performs all tests per JEDEC IC 22, RS397 and test standards for SCRs.
