Ample Communications has finalised a sales and distribution agreement with El-Gev Electronics, a leading reseller of electronics and fibre-optic components and modules to the Israeli datacommunications, networking and telecommunications marketplace El-Gev will distribute Ample Communications' entire line of highly integrated Ethernet and Sonet/SDH frame processor silicon devices in Israel and throughout the region, through its professional and highly skilled sales and application support organisation

Ample Communications' merchant silicon solutions are used in the development of high-speed, high-performance switching and routing solutions targeted for the enterprise and metropolitan area network equipment markets.
The company's silicon solutions are used by network system OEMs to efficiently design next-generation speeds and densities into line cards that can be used in existing network systems - an approach that resonates well with today's enterprise and carrier customers that are tasked with maximising ROI from their existing equipment.
