A new addition to the latest Amplicon catalogue, the King UPS series is a low-cost, high specification range of uninterruptible power supplies.

A new addition to the latest Amplicon catalogue, the King UPS series is a low-cost, high specification range of uninterruptible power supplies A major feature of the series is the regulated output voltage which is provided within +/-25% of the input voltage, and if for any reason this is exceeded the battery supplies the output voltage

A battery capacity of up to 7Ah is available, and is able to filter any spikes from the supply if necessary.

Batteries provided are both hot swappable and user replaceable.

Parallel operation is available for larger loads.

The series is provided with both automatic and manual control facilities, and has an internal clock for scheduled power up and power down.

With a highly efficient surge and noise filter, the power supplies are ideal for PC and industrial applications.

The UPSs feature a 9-pin DB connector RS232 communications interface and either PC or server based UPS monitoring software capable of handling power disturbances.

An on screen power fail message with the option for the user to program file saving and sequencing and automatic boot up when power returns is a fundamental part of the series.

Operation of the King UPSs is microprocessor controlled, with a no-load switch off option.

Blackout, brownout, surge overvoltage and shutdown data logging are also provided for.

Designed in linear technology, the UPS is provided in a DIN mountable IP20 case, with up to 30 minutes hold-up time.

All models come with UPSMON monitoring software included as part of the package, and are compatible with MS DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95 and NT.

Every UPS is CE compliant and registered to ISO9001 requirements.

Prices range from £78.97 for the 425VA UPS up to £355.35 for the 2200VA model.
