Amplicon has been appointed UK distributor for Advance Galatrek, recognising its expertise both in the power supply and industrial computing fields The initial agreement covers Advance Galatrek's desktop, floor-standing and rack-mounting UPSs, with ratings up to 2kVA

Future developments will include extending to 6kVA, offering additional battery packs for longer support time, bypass switches, CVT (constant voltage transformers) and transient surge suppressers.

The Advance Galatrek product range will enhance Amplicon's current power offerings, complementing the switch mode and linear power supplies and DC/DC convertors, and the low cost UPSs currently featured in the catalogue.

"The appointment of Advance Galatrek as a supplier builds on our success in selling a range of low-cost, entry-level UPSs.

Talking to our customers in both the industrial computing and commercial data transaction sectors demonstrated that we needed to provide a more comprehensive and professional range of UPSs.

This led to the partnership with Advance Galatrek, with which we are looking forward to working with on a long-term basis", commented Duncan Palmer, Amplicon's Power Product Manager.

Robin Koffler, Advance Galatrek's Managing Director - Commercial, added: "We are delighted to be working with Amplicon.

They understand customer service and, with their sound power protection knowledge and consultative approach, we are confident of their success".
