HiTek, whose UK headquarters are located at Bognor Regis in West Sussex, is a global leader in the design and manufacture of power supplies and its HiFlex modular series is one of the most flexible power systems available for OEM applications.

Amplicon's high level of technical expertise in the power supply field makes it a natural decision for the two companies to work together in a distribution partnership.

The HiFlex range offers standard single and multiple output power modules that can be configured to meet specific output voltage requirements, so combining the benefits of a standard product with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual applications.

Two fan-cooled chassis options of 1000 and 1600W are available with either five or eight slots, respectively, providing a platform into which 34 different output modules can be installed.

A complete range of DC output modules from 1.5 to 60V, together with a series of triple output units, ensures total flexibility for users to satisfy any application.

Modules of the same output voltage can be connected in parallel to provide higher currents or dual redundant operation between modules of different outputs.

In addition, while the chassis can be monitored and switched on/off remotely, each module also offers a self-monitoring and remote switching feature which enables on/off sequencing in multirail combinations.

All units in the HiFlex range are power factor corrected and meet all accepted industry standards.

Finally, due to the close partnership it enjoys with HiTek Power, Amplicon is able to offer shipment of fully configured power supplies within three days of order receipt for the majority of optional modules.
