Large displays offer 50 or 100mm high LEDs
Designed to enable displayed data to be read over long distances, the BDF series are large four or six digit displays with 50 (2in) or 100mm (4in) high LEDs.
SBC Incorporates Celeron Pentium II Processor
A new generation single board computer, which incorporates the state-of-the-art Celeron Pentium II, is now available from Amplicon Liveline.
The cornerstone of the range is a small-footprint PCB module with digital, analogue, serial and audio over Bluetooth capability, priced extremely competitively.
Developer kits are also attractively priced and allow the potential user to evaluate the product in full, to determine its suitability for inclusion in new product designs or to add Bluetooth capability to existing products.
By removing the need for OEM designers with specialised knowledge, the module reduces the Bluetooth integration cycle from months to hours.
The complete portfolio comprises five products, which can be used to embed wireless capabilities in new equipment, or add cable-free connection to legacy hardware.
A key feature is that the top half of the Bluetooth protocol stack is embedded onboard, so dumb RS232 devices can communicate wirelessly without the requirement for software to be written, allowing quick and easy integration.
The range offers a selection of RS232, USB and PCMCIA interfaces.
Full Bluetooth qualification, a legal requirement for any Bluetooth enabled system or product, has been carried out on the range, allowing OEMs/ODMs to inexpensively add wireless capability to new and existing product designs alike.
Many suppliers do not offer Bluetooth-approved components, making manufacturers liable for the costs of Bluetooth qualification for their finished product.
At a typical cost of GBP 40,000 per product, selection of the wrong system component can be an expensive error to make.
