A new range of stand-alone or "built-to-order" rack cabinets can be either floor or wall mounted.

In a recent addition to its professional computing product range, Amplicon is now offering a distinctive selection of stand-alone or "built-to-order" rack cabinets that can be either floor or wall mounted.

These cabinets perfectly complement the range of rack-mount systems and equipment available from Amplicon.

The "Access" cabinets feature a unique open architecture construction without corner posts, enabling door panels to be quickly removed to completely expose the frame for the installation of cables or equipment, at a greatly reduced time compared to conventional cabinets.

The open frame structure allows almost 360-degree accessibility prior to doors being fitted.

The lack of corner posts enables the customer to make the maximum use of the available space when storing equipment.

They are easy to maintain with ready access to equipment and patch panels, making them a more user-friendly cabinet than other more standard designs.

Providing 53% open area ventilation, the cabinets offer excellent thermal control.

External cable entry can be from movable brush strip panels or base options (standard or computer floor plinths), with the option of a stabilising plinth for easy installation in raised floor applications.

The side panels have quick release hinges for easy access, and with many door and panel options, a high level of flexibility is offered.

Cabinets are capable of accepting loads of up to 500kg, with other features including good security, branding options and stylish appearance.

Amplicon provides full technical support and advice, and offers free delivery options on the Access cabinets.
