DFI-ACP, a leading motherboard manufacturer based in Taiwan, has recently appointed Amplicon as distributor of its exiting new range of industrial motherboards.

Engineers can now select from a range in ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX form factors, ideal for dedicated application PCs, network appliances, control and test systems Commercial motherboards typically have a very short life cycle, often as little as 6 months, during which time there will be many revisions

This is simply unacceptable for industrial applications, where repeatability is important as change means high costs in redevelopment of software, and affects plug-in or attached hardware functionality.

DFI-ACP industrial motherboards provide long life cycles with revision control.

With the company's commitment to complete revision control, before any component change can occur, the customer's approval must be sought in advance.

The range of boards include a host of additional features for industry, such as four serial ports, ISA slots, dual LAN and LVDS panel support.

A failure rate across the range of less than 0.3% shows DFI-ACP's total commitment to quality.

Amplicon has been appointed to distribute and integrate the full range of DFI-ACP industrial motherboards in the UK.

Jon Hutson, Amplicon's Professional Computing Product Manager commented, "With the addition of this wide range of Industrial Motherboards to the Professional Computing portfolio, I am confident that we can offer customers the best quality and most reliable solution for their industrial applications".

"We have already noticed customers taking great interest in these boards and I believe this will be a growth area for Amplicon." About Amplicon - Amplicon Liveline is a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic products, systems and services.
