Development board for programmable analogue arrays
Anadigm - formerly Anadyne Microelectronics - has launched a development and evaluation board for field programmable analogue arrays (FPAAs).
Software puts standard filters on analogue arrays
Anadigm has added filter synthesis to its field-programmable analogue array (FPAA) configuration software.
With FPAAs, analogue circuitry can be reconfigured during development, in the field, or on-the-fly by an embedded microcontroller within the end system.
Using AnadigmDesigner EDA software tools, users can fully simulate an analogue design and immediately download it to the FPAA for testing and validation.
With extensive experience in FPGA and field-programmable digital array (FPDA) devices, Insight will apply its expertise and current software and support infrastructure to Anadigm technologies.
"The user-friendly technology from Anadigm provides Insight with compelling solutions for our customers.
It demystifies analogue design, especially in the filter arena.
We are excited to add Anadigm to our portfolio", said Karen Worley, Insight president and CEO.
"Insight's experience in bringing field-programmable solutions to designers is a natural fit with Anadigm's mission of bringing analogue into alignment with the industry trend toward integrated reconfigurable hardware", said Deborah O'Connell, vice president of Worldwide Sales at Anadigm.
"We're very enthused to be working with such a qualified, talented sales force with Insight's proven track record".
