"We provide the high quality test solutions and test cases, and, with our backing, 7 layers supplies the expertise to help customers run tests efficiently, analyse the results and write their own test cases for our solutions".
The agreement will enable manufacturers to benefit from a complete support package.
7 layers and Anite helpdesk will liase in providing appropriate test results readings and test development solutions.
By combining both companies' areas of experience and expertise, customers benefit from a one-stop-shop for service and support.
"This agreement means that joint Anite and 7 layers' clients will receive the most appropriate test equipment, tools and support to meet their needs", commented Thomas Jager, global manager of cellular services at 7 layers.
"This level of service will enable them to make the most efficient possible technical and commercial use of their own laboratories as they strive to meet their 3G time-to-market schedules".
Anite's Morley concludes, "In such a competitive industry, time-to-market is the crucial factor for manufacturers.
This agreement makes the testing process much more efficient, reduces product development cycles, and, as a result, provides our customers with a tangible competitive advantage".
