Testers certify 2G and 3G handsets for
US market
A global wireless-communications test house, has deployed two new SAT(A) test systems in its facilities in Essen, Germany and Seoul, Korea to certify both 2G and 3G handsets for the US market.

Handsets destined for the US market require compulsory PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB1) certification.
Anite's SAT(A) solution satisfies PTCRB requirements for both 2G and 3G phones ensuring that all handsets tested using the Anite systems in Cetecom's Seoul and Essen labs are certified for the US market.
