Toolset meets WiMAX standards
Anite's PCT allows WiMAX products to be tested to receive WiMAX Forum Certification, to determine that they will seamlessly interoperate with solutions from other companies.

Anite partnered with AT4 wireless, an independent test laboratory for wireless telecommunications technologies and products, to validate Anite's PCT system.

"Anite's PCT further extends our testing capability to offer protocol conformance testing to our customers to speed the certification process and time to market of their fixed WiMAX devices".
"As WiMAX evolves to incorporate new features, it is vital for the testing industry to react rapidly to produce the test cases that allow developers of equipment to drive innovation within the safe framework that standards provide", said James Goodwin, Product Manager, Anite.
Wave 2's security enhancements build on WiMAX' existing security features by enabling the use of the Enhanced Encryption Standard (AES), a more robust form of encryption that has been adopted by the US government.
