Analog Devices has a new family of precision bandgap voltage references in compact, industry-leading SOT-23-5 and SC-70-5 packages.

The ADR01 (10V output) and ADR02 (5V output) are improved versions of the standard REF01 and REF02 voltage references, and provide an extremely stable output voltage from a wide supply voltage range of 15 to 40 and 10 to 40V, respectively.

Additionally, the SOIC-8 version of this family is pin-compatible with the REF01 and REF02, and can be used as drop-in replacements while providing improved cost and performance.

The ADR01/ADR02 voltage reference family provides a low temperature coefficient of 3ppm/degC (typical) - the industry's highest performance rating for this product category in SOT and SC packaging.

Long-term stability of 50ppm/kh (typical) and an output current of 10mA, make this voltage reference family ideal for precision data acquisition systems, high-resolution convertors, industrial process control and precision instrumentation applications.

The trim terminal on the ADR01/02 can be used for fine adjustment; with an external buffer, the temp terminal can be used for temperature monitoring functions.

Available now, the ADR01 and ADR02 operate over the extended industrial temperature range of -40 to +125C, and are priced at $1.36 per unit in 1000-piece quantities.
