Recoules takes top European role

Analog Devices has promoted Serge Recoules to the post of Managing Director of European Sales and Marketing.

Analog Devices has promoted Serge Recoules to the post of Managing Director of European Sales and Marketing.

Recoules will be responsible for spearheading the company's European sales effort, managing an experienced team of sales people across the region to provide both technical support and business development for all channels, direct and indirect.

Recoules has worked for ADI in a variety of increasingly important sales and marketing roles over the last several years and brings an in-depth understanding of the company's European customer base, sales channels and markets to his new position.

His familiarity with the key challenges facing ADI's European customers will provide a strong foundation for the company to build on as it strives towards achieving aggressive revenue targets in Europe in the next few years.

Serge Recoules joined ADI as a sales engineer in 1976 after graduating from the INSA Engineering School in France.

From February 1994 to October 2001, he served as European Director of OEM Sales where he was responsible for creating a new sales team to align with emerging European markets.

During this period, ADI's sales in the region nearly doubled.

In November 2001, Recoules served as interim Managing Director for the company's European sales organisation, where he has been instrumental in leading the reorganisation and re-alignment of ADI's European sales force in accordance with the company's corporate sales.
