Arrow Electronics and Analog Devices have signed an agreement to extend the two companies' current distribution contract to the Americas.

Arrow Electronics and Analog Devices have signed an agreement to extend the two companies' current distribution contract to the Americas.

This is an expansion to existing franchise relationships in Europe and Asia.

Expanding on its global support of its customers, Arrow will distribute ADI's complete line of high-performance signal processing products, including: data convertors, amplifiers, interface, power and DSPs.

Arrow is one of the world's largest distributors of electronic components and computer products and a leading provider of services to the electronics industry.

This agreement allows Arrow's customers in North and South America to receive the benefit of ADI's premium products.

"The engagement in the Americas between Analog Devices and Arrow Electronics joins the two companies together in a critical region of the world", said Rich Begen, Director, Global Distribution for ADI.

"We are committed to improving our customer support infrastructure in the Americas, and at the same time, we recognise that expanding our relationship with Arrow enables us to better define how our two companies will interact on a global basis".

"Expanding our distribution of ADI's world-class analogue and DSP products to the Americas will enhance our ability to support the needs of our global customer base, while we continue to focus on demand creation, sales expertise, inventory delivery systems, and innovative supply chain solutions", said Jan Salsgiver, President of North American Components for Arrow Electronics.

"Arrow is the number one distributor of ADI products in Europe.

Our goal now is to mirror that performance in the Americas".
