Semiconductor products set for Munich
launch
Electronica 2006 will see Analog Devices launch several new semiconductor products, including mixed-signal devices, embedded processors and MEMS components.
Analog Devices' showing at Electronica 2006 will be highlighted by the announcement of several new semiconductor products (mixed-signal/analogue devices, embedded processors and MEMS components) The company will have a range of demonstrations on its stand (Hall A4, Stand 159), representing industry-leading innovations that drive emerging applications in the following market areas: automotive, industrial, consumer and embedded processing technology

For automotive, ADI will be demonstrating its advanced signal processing technology, including precision monitoring of a lead-acid battery, driver assistance, and a demo of ADI's capacitance-to-digital convertors.
For process control, there will be three demonstrations of ADI's sensor technology, including the fully integrated iSensor intelligent motion sensor, the innovative AD5933 impedance-to-digital convertor, and its range of capacitance-to-digital convertors.
ADI will also be showing an industrial signal chain demonstration utilising a variety of the company's products, and a robotic arm demonstration using the Blackfin processor and convertor driver solutions.
Many of ADI's components are used in advanced consumer applications, and at electronica 2006 the company will be showcasing key areas including: advanced TV, the digital home and portable applications.
ADI will be demonstrating cLinux running on its Blackfin processor, and the tools and support the company provides for developing embedded applications.
These technology showcases will be complemented by interactive presentations, including communications applications, and a strong presence in the show conference programme.
