Display module has extended temperature range
A 7in WVGA TFT display module from Anders Electronics combines excellent visual characteristics with an extended operating temperature range of -30C to +85dC.
Fully field proven, the new range is available with short lead times, and consists of a 10.4in VGA, 10.4in XGA, 12.1in SVGA and 15.1in XGA panel with brightness solutions ranging from 500 to 1000Cd.
Offering extremely good thermal management characteristics, the products have lifetimes ranging from 35,000 to 50,000h, and contrast ratios of 200:1 to 250:1, and all have a slim form factor.
Another key feature of the new range is that all products are fully compatible, both mechanically and electrically, with the LGPhilips range of industrial TFTs.
This means that systems can be based around a standard-brightness LGPhilips display, but offer a high-brightness option/upgrade at low cost and minimal product alteration.
This will be particularly welcome in application environments such as EPoS and EPoI.
