A new range of high-quality colour TFT LCD panels is now available from Anders Electronics.
Measuring only 76.8 x 103.7 x 5.5mm, and weighing just 65g, the Nan Ya LCBA7T211M2 is a colour STN 3.9in QVGA display, with exceptionally high image quality and a power consumption of only 0.4W (including backlight).
With a resolution of 240 x 320 x RGB (1/240 duty), the product offers a contrast ratio of 32:1, a response time of 330ms and a viewing angle of 97 degrees (vertical) and +/- 57 degrees (horizontal).
With a CCFL backlight (transmissive mode), the Nan Ya LCBA7T211M2 requires a 3.3V power supply (logic), and has an operating temperature of 0-50C.
A touchscreen is available as a standard option.
Also in the range is a low-power mono QVGA FSTN module.
Consuming as little as 7.2mW, excluding built-in backlight inverter, the product offers a paper white display, though an ultra-paper-white option is also available, and viewing angles as wide as +/- 60 degrees (H) and +/- 65 degrees (V) can be supplied.
The range is particularly suitable for hand-held PCs, PDAs and other WinCE applications.
With a built-in VEE voltage generator and EL inverter, as well as touchscreen and LCD interface connections combined on a single connector, the mono displays measure 75.1 x 93.8mm (portrait).
The products feature a fine-pitch design, with a 15-micron dot-spacing, and have a typical contrast ratio of 9:1.
