Display module has extended temperature range
A 7in WVGA TFT display module from Anders Electronics combines excellent visual characteristics with an extended operating temperature range of -30C to +85dC.
These modules integrate high performance display driver solutions with high processing performance, multimedia capabilities, and powerful interfaces including video input, audio, USB and wireless networking.
High performance display technologies will include LTPS-TFTs from Toppoly featuring displays from 1.8 to 7in and CSTN displays in popular sizes including 1.5, 1.77 and 5.7in.
Visitors will discover how these technologies enhance brightness, power, integration and low-profile design for handheld and other products for consumer and professional applications.

Quarter-VGA panel takes controller onboard
The integration of a controller device within the display module itself will reduce design complexity and speed time to market.
Colour STNs make for easy upgrades
New modules will be of particular interest to designers familiar with STN interface technology looking to migrate to colour without the associated expense of redesign to TFT.
Anders' Ra-Tek display enhancement technology allows designers to make significant savings in power consumption and heat dissipation, compared to VHB or UHB backlights, in daylight-viewable LCD displays.
Photon enhancement technologies uses the sun's own energy to increase the brightness of the display, without requiring additional power.
Ra-Tek technology can be applied to any transmissive LCD, which simplifies design of new products as well as evolution of established display designs for outdoor applications.
Transmissive panels enhanced by Ra-Tek also display high contrast ratio and maintain colour fidelity throughout a wider viewing angle than alternative outdoor viewable technologies.
Technical specialists at Anders Electronics' booth will demonstrate how OLED-based solutions can be quickly perfected using the Osram Pictiva OLED evaluation kit, which includes hardware, software and display modules to help designers prove critical aspects of new designs early in the design cycle.
Additional OSRAM evaluation products will also be demonstrated.
Further exhibits included in the demonstrations on the booth will include the new mono QVGA, as well as a 128 x 64 COG FSTN module with LED backlight option.
These also benefit from aggressive pricing and short lead times to give designers of fast moving consumer electronics products an edge in the market. Request free introductory details about products from Anders Electronics ...
