A high brightness 15.1in XGA TFT panel has been added to the extensive product line-up of Anders Displays, a division of Anders Electronics.
The combination of available technology and in-house engineering expertise allows Anders to develop semi-custom TFT displays for applications with low-volume production.
Polariser type, interface options - including serial, RGB, CPUI and I2C - touchscreen type and backlight arrangement are just some of the display elements that can be customised as part of the new service.
Anders can also customise mechanical aspects of the design including the bezel, the position of external connections and the type and length of cable.
Rob Anders, the Anders Electronics CEO, said: "This new service is a key element in our drive to go beyond simply supplying product and to provide application-optimised displays that truly enhance the user machine relationship".
"In the past, sourcing custom and semi-custom TFT modules has only been commercially viable for applications with higher volume production runs".
