Analyser covers all major cellular standards
Anritsu has launched the MT8801C radio communications analyser, offering the capability to test the latest internet mobile phones quickly and efficiently.
The demonstration will use the FOMA 3G video handset supporting 64Kbit/s-colour video, a "land line" videophone, and Anritsu's MD8480B signalling tester to simulate the network.
Jonathan Borrill, European Product Marketing Manager for Wireless Products comments, "This demonstrates that the technology to develop and test real world applications for 3G is available, and is available now".
Anritsu's MD8480B will provide a true RF interface as well as Layer1 through to Layer 3 signalling.
It also provides higher layer scheduling which provides this true "end to end" application.
Jonathan Borrill continues: "Third-generation application developers and testers will be welcome to see how this, and other applications, can be developed and tested for 3G networks today".
