Paul Hunter has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Anritsu.

Paul Hunter has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Anritsu Hunter's new role sees him taking leadership in Europe for the company's European operations

Hunter will also continue as the General Manager at Anritsu's successful European Measurement Division, located in Stevenage and Luton, England.

It is this group that has been responsible for leading they way in developing and producing solutions for measurement and testing of communications technologies including W-CMDA for third-generation mobile systems, W-LAN and Bluetooth.

Prior to joining Anritsu, Hunter worked in Canada, the UK, France, Germany and the USA for companies such as Nortel Networks, Marconi, Mobile Systems International and Tertio.

He has a degree from Warwick University, England and a Masters of Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, Canada.

Hunter commented, "It has to be said that our industry is certainly experiencing challenging times and the years ahead will be interesting.

I believe though that the goal of continuing to provide customers with greater support as well as innovative, intelligent solutions makes the role extremely exciting.

Anritsu has, and will continue to, develop a very exciting portfolio of test solutions.

This combined with further developments in our W-CDMA.

W-LAN, IP test and data network analysis portfolio makes the years ahead very bright indeed".
