Anritsu has launched the MT8801C radio communications analyser, offering the capability to test the latest internet mobile phones quickly and efficiently.
The NSL is a set of tried and tested test cases for 3G mobile phones that mobile developer's and network operators can use to check that mobile handsets and user equipment will work with the signalling typically used in real 3G networks.
These test cases run on the Anritsu system simulator that is widely used by leading mobile phone developers.
Paul Hunter, Managing Director of Anritsu in Europe comments: "Anritsu believes that by making these test cases available we are allowing all 3G developers and operators to learn from the experience NTT DoCoMo has obtained in leading the development of this global standard.
These test cases will provide a reference that captures knowledge gained by NTT DoCoMo.
With the 3G standards being so complex and large, it is important that the industry can see a set of configurations and procedures that will perform well in deployment.
Anritsu is expecting that this protocol test library will help the 3G community to understand which options and process in the 3G standards work well and provide the level of service that customers demand".
