Anritsu now has a total of 50 GCF approved test cases, the largest of any test equipment vendor, which by far establishes the company as the leader in the field This achievement comes at a time as mobile operators and UE manufacturers, planning to roll out their 3G services at the end of the year, are closely monitoring the progress made by the industry in providing the approved test cases on time

"This weeks' achievement is a testimony to our previously stated position on the importance of working towards GCF approved test cases for the success of the 3G industry", stated Paul Hunter, European Managing Director with Anritsu.

"We are committed to working towards a qualified rollout of 3G and will continually perform the validation work to obtain GCF approval of protocol and RF test cases", added Hunter.

In addition to delivering the largest number of RF test cases the company has 80+ 3GPP approved protocol test cases.

Anritsu remains the leading company offering 3GPP protocol conformance tests cases as defined in the 3GPP Terminal Conformance Specification, boasting more than 200 commercially available.
