Anritsu has added two further modules to its family of data network analysis products.

Anritsu has added two further modules to its family of data network analysis products Enabling full coverage of packet over Sonet, from 155Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s, the modules complete the ability to test Ethernet from 10Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s, on both the MD1230A and the MD1231A mainframes

The MU120119A and the MU120120A offer full network benchmarking and stress testing, monitoring and trouble shooting on a single unit.

The addition of the MU120119A and the MU120120A modules satisfy a wide range of applications, from research and development, to manufacturing and network commissioning as well as for network operators and providers, depending on the mainframe being deployed.

With these modules the MD1230A and MD1231A are turned into complete cost effective modular designs eliminating the need for an external PC.

A built in optical power meter, available as an option, counteracts the need for both a separate PC and power level testing unit.

Additional features include an intuitive, windows-based graphical user interface, enabling fast and easy test routines, and a choice of automatic test routines is also available which can be launched from a separate GUI, by a single button push.

The MU120119A and the MU120120A modules meet the requirements of the RFC 2544, and also allow for user configurability.

The modules are now available from Anritsu.
