Bluetooth testers qualify for service

Achieving validated status means that users can test products with absolute confidence in the measurements that they make and validated test systems can be used for product qualification or for product assessment prior to submission to a Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF).

Anritsu's Bluetooth test sets have become the de-facto standard test instruments for design proving and production test of Bluetooth modules and products with a Bluetooth wireless interface.
The MT8850A/MT8852A test set supports eight of the 15 test cases in the Bluetooth RF test specification.
Following its successful partnership to develop the ME7865A prequalification test system, Anritsu selected Cetecom of Malaga, Spain to review the MT8850A/MT8852A test sets and create a validation test report for submission to the BQRB.
As of October 2003, the BQRB has confirmed that validated test system status has been granted to the MT8850A/MT8852A.
