Leading technology companies worldwide showcased their innovative electronic design methods at Ansoft Corp's 2003 "Delivering performance" global seminar series.

Leading technology companies worldwide showcased their innovative electronic design methods at Ansoft Corp's 2003 "Delivering performance" global seminar series for the design of high-frequency and high-speed components and systems.

The seminars, which took place from September to November in cities throughout North America, Asia and Europe, drew more than 3500 delegates and included presentations from 31 high-tech companies, including Intel, Raytheon, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, NASA, Wavecrest Laboratories, National Instruments and others.

"As a user of HFSS and other Ansoft tools, I found the presentations to be very helpful", said Hung Pham, Technical Leader of Hardware Engineering at Cisco Systems.

"The speakers did an outstanding job of illustrating how they use Ansoft software to improve accuracy and turnaround time, from concept, to prototype, to end product".

Invited speakers discussed how they are using Ansoft's electromagnetic analysis tools early in the design cycle to efficiently and cost-effectively produce high-performance electronic products.

Presentations covered topics relating to the design of RF mixed-signal ICs, telecomms equipment, high-speed PCBs, supercomputers, wideband receivers, Bluetooth wireless transceivers and more.

The presentations can be downloaded from the Ansoft website.
