Workshops to address high-frequency challenges
A series of free application workshops will include presentations by expert designers from leading high-performance electronics companies, including TDK, Molex and Xilinx.
Ansoft UK is holding a series of free application workshops with presentations by expert designers from leading high-performance electronics companies, including TDK, Molex and Xilinx.
The first to be held is the HFSS Users Group Meeting in Reading, Berkshire on 9th November, exclusively for Ansoft HFSS customers.
The recent release of version 10 of HFSS has included many enhancements over previous versions and will form the basis of group discussions.
The workshop will also allow users to discuss their design challenges and share how HFSS helps to solve them, exchange ideas with peers, interact with Ansoft staff and gain insight into Ansoft's product roadmap.
The opening keynote speech will be given by Ansoft Founder and CTO, Dr Zoltan Cendes, and the event will feature guest speakers from well-known electronics companies.
The Ansoft Design Forum series of workshops will take place from November 2005 to January 2006 in Edinburgh (22nd November), Cork (24nd November) and Cambridge (19th January), and will showcase advanced applications in high-performance electronics, emphasising the collaborative design of components, circuits, and systems for maximum performance with minimal time and cost, forming part of the Ansoft Converge series of workshops currently taking place in USA and Asia.
Venues and dates can be found on the Ansoft website.
The Ansoft High Speed Design Forum (2nd February 2006) is a new event open to all design engineers and managers responsible for the signal integrity of high speed circuitry.
Ensuring signal "fidelity" at gigahertz speeds (or nanosecond rise times) requires a new generation of design strategies and tools to accurately characterise signal transmission.
The forum is based around technical presentations covering several application areas including PCI express and FD-DIMM and improving EMI/EMC performance.
Places are limited at each of the free workshops and registrations are on a first come-first booked basis.
Details can be found on the Ansoft website.
