ANT has appointed Andrew Bovingdon as Product Manager for its evolving range of embedded browser products, including Fresco and Fresco Lite.

ANT has appointed Andrew Bovingdon as Product Manager for its evolving range of embedded browser products, including Fresco and Fresco Lite In his new role, Bovingdon is responsible for identifying and developing new worldwide market opportunities for the Fresco product family

He will also drive product development to meet the changing needs of ANT's key markets, especially the rapidly growing TV over IP and cable-TV sectors.

Bovingdon joins ANT from Microsoft Research, where his position as Marketing Manager for Research Activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa demanded a strategic view and close liaison with Microsoft Corp centres around the world.

Previously he worked at Santa Cruz Operation, where he was instrumental in the development and management of the flagship Tarantella web-enabling product, which subsequently became a separate company.
