Bovingdon to focus on embedded browsers

Browser speeds set-top box to Spanish market
ANT's Fresco browser is a key component in telecomms manufacturer Interisa's digital set-top box (STB), which is being supplied to Spanish broadcaster Quiero TV.
He will also drive product development to meet the changing needs of ANT's key markets, especially the rapidly growing TV over IP and cable-TV sectors.
Bovingdon joins ANT from Microsoft Research, where his position as Marketing Manager for Research Activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa demanded a strategic view and close liaison with Microsoft Corp centres around the world.
Previously he worked at Santa Cruz Operation, where he was instrumental in the development and management of the flagship Tarantella web-enabling product, which subsequently became a separate company.
