Tan takes on Asia-Pacific region

Tan will have offices in the greater China area, and will report to Ryan Panos, Vice President of Global Sales, Aeroflex Test Solutions.
Tan comes to Aeroflex with more than 20 years experience in the test and measurement industry.
His business experience encompasses sales management and training, executive coaching, marketing and business development.
Tan began his career in 1972 as a Department Head in Production System Planning for Rollei in Singapore.
He then joined Hewlett-Packard where he held a variety of senior management positions including District Sales Manager; Country Sales Manager (Singapore and Malaysia); Marketing Director, ASEAN, Computer Systems and Test and Measurement; Country General Manager (China); Regional General Manager, South Asia Pacific Region.
In 1998, Tan became the Vice President and Managing Director for Tellabs Asia Pacific Field Operation.
Countries covered in this position included: Japan, Greater China, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India and all of South East Asia.
In 2001, Tan joined Agilent Technologies as their Vice President and General Manager, Communications Solutions Group, Asia Pacific Field Operation.
And in 2003, he began providing services in executive search, channel consulting and development, sales management and training, and executive coaching as a management consultant.
Tan holds a BSc in electrical and electronics engineering with 1st class honours from the University of Strathclyde in the UK.
He also has advanced training in strategic management and marketing and advanced management.
