Motorola's ADR Testing Service's purchase of the Aeroflex HSDPA conformance test system follows the recent announcement by Aeroflex that it has introduced the first working HSDPA conformance test case.
The test case submission to the 3GPP RAN5 Working Group will provide the benchmark for the HSDPA test case approval and verification process.
The Aeroflex HSDPA conformance test system has already been installed and commissioned at Motorola's ADR Testing Service.
Commenting on the purchase of Aeroflex's HSDPA conformance test system, Lars Nielsen, Managing Director of Motorola's ADR Testing Service said: "Our history is peppered with industry firsts in terms of mobile handset conformance testing".
