Convertor features full internal
compensation
A novel DC/DC convertor features full internal compensation, reducing the need for external components and conserving valuable board space.
AnalogicTech has introduced a DC/DC convertor with architecture that features full internal compensation, reducing the need for external components and conserving valuable board space The latest addition to AnalogicTech's extensive convertor family, the AAT1152 fully integrated 850kHz 1A buck DC/DC convertor also includes a "power OK" (POK) function that monitors the output, alerting the system if the output voltage falls out of regulation

LDO handles big loads in portable kit
The AAT3239 is a new 500mA low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator for battery-operated portable applications.
Computer peripherals, cable/DSL modems, and network cards are among the many applications that can benefit from the AAT1152's combination of features.
For example, the POK signal can prevent system errors that occur when the CPU is not receiving regulated voltage inputs.
The AAT1152 supports fixed inputs from 2.7 to 5V; outputs are fixed or adjustable from 1 to 4.2V (depending on the options selected).
The device features low on-resistance, 110mohm MOSFET switches and achieves up to 95% efficiency.
The AAT1152 operates in constant PWM mode, producing very low ripple across the entire load spectrum.
With its inherent high stability, the AAT1152 supports the use of low-cost, compact, ceramic capacitors.
A digital soft-start limits surge current during startup.
The device also features comprehensive current-limit and overtemperature protection circuits.
AnalogicTech's AAT1152 is available immediately in a space-saving 8-lead MSOP package.
The device is rated over the extended industrial temperature range of -40 to +85C.
