New high-current wire-to-PCB terminal blocks from Amphenol Pcd are rated at 75A and will accept two power cables up to AWG 4 in size, as well as a smaller sensor or audio cable.

The three-position blocks, soldered to the boards on 15.0mm centres, feature reusable moving cage clamp wire terminations and one-piece contacts for interconnect reliability.

Two 75A power contact positions are augmented by a smaller wire window providing sensor wire termination.

The ELMP high-current blocks provide transition to a PC board within a power cabinet or externally, and are designed to facilitate wire-to-control system interface for power or long run signal cabling in industrial controls, telecommunications and related applications.

Typical areas of use include power supplies and conditioning, motor drives, UPSs, utility monitoring and telecommunications infrastructure.

Blocks can be reconfigured or customised for specific applications.

Variation possibilities include marking, colour and contact size.
