The APC-16PD is an ultra-low-profile 19in rack-mount AC/DC power system providing an exceptionally compact, feature rich solution supporting battery backup for telecomms, basestation and distributed power applications The APC-16PD comprises a 1U high shelf (43.4mm), 313mm deep with built-in distribution to eight fuse-protected output terminals, low voltage disconnect and constant current charger for lead-acid battery applications and space for up to two APC power modules (rectifiers)

Supplying precisely regulated outputs of 48.0, 54.5 and 56.2V DC, the two hot-swap power modules can be configured to provide up to 41.6A total current or 20.8A of redundant power from 180 to 264V input.

33.2A total current or 16.6A redundancy is available from a universal mains input (85 to 264V).

Low voltage disconnect for battery deep discharge protection, individual GMT fuses, a restart button for battery replacement without utility and a battery circuit breaker for battery string disconnection are available via the front panel.

Protection and alarm features include front panel visual LED alarms for rectifier module power failure, AC input failure, output GMT fuse failure, over-temperature Fail or power supply module fan fail.

As part of the APC Powerstax range, enhanced control and monitoring of the power modules is available via I2C bus.

An ideal solution for smaller, self contained and space sensitive installations, the APC-16PD shelf is very cost effective.

Sample units are available in 1-2 weeks.
