Models within the R series of DC/DC convertors offer up to four isolated outputs with a choice of five voltage input ranges to provide an exceptionally versatile and flexible package Output voltages from 3.3 to 24V are available from the single, dual, triple and quad variants, which provides an ideal solution for multiple voltage requirements where space and flexibility are at a premium

Design-in flexibility is further enhanced with a further choice of five input voltage ranges: 9-18 (12V nominal); 18-36 (24V nominal); 36-75 (48V nominal); 10-30 and 20-60V DC.

With the wide variety of standard module variants supplying a maximum 100W, four isolated outputs and a typical efficiency of 84%, the R series offers savings in layout space, design time and inventory.

In addition, with the option of either PCB mounting pins or screw and clamp fixing, the time to market can be still further reduced.

Measuring 98.9 x 140 x 22.8mm, the thermally adept metal cased module has an operating temperature range of -25 to +85C with free air convection cooling.

A wide range of additional features include UL approval, reverse voltage protection and remote enable, plus an optional trim function which means that the R series from APC provides a versatile, speedy and cost effective solution ideal for distributed power systems, telecomms, aerospace, defence, industrial and control applications.

Custom designs are also available.
