The ZTAH terminal adapter offers a simple, quick and cost effective alternative to board mounting standard PCB pin half brick size DC/DC convertors.

New from Powerstax, the ZTAH terminal adapter offers a simple, quick and cost effective alternative to board mounting standard PCB pin half brick size DC/DC convertors Supplying an option for screw and clamp connections to PCB pin type half brick modules makes the ZTAH adapter ideal for use during bench testing, design work and for industrial applications

Measuring 43 x 55mm, the Powerstax ZTAH adapter fits without difficulty within the industry standard half brick DC/DC convertor footprint (61.0 x 57.9mm).

At just 11.6mm high, the low profile ZTAH fits snugly on the top of the convertors by either solder fit or alternatively, with a special pluggable option.

The single sided adapter does not hinder the conventional mounting of the convertor module and permits units either to be cold wall mounted or employ an appropriate Powerstax heatsink fixed in the usual manner.

With maximum 24A output power rating, the two rows of 5mm pitch "screw and clamp" terminal blocks accommodate 1.5mm2 (26-16AWG) wire and provide an easy and repeatable way for system designers to carry out development and test functions, and industrial field engineers can integrate, install and replace modules with just a screwdriver.

Available now, the simple design ensures a cost effective solution for those requiring a straightforward and re-useable interface for half brick DC/DC convertor with industry standard pin configurations.
