Initially, APW is supplying more than 200 cabinets from its flagship product family, Paramount, into KeyBridge data centres in London, Amsterdam, Washington, DC and San Jose.

The Paramount enclosure family, which is manufactured in Uxbridge, UK and Worcester, MA, is compatible with virtually all major PC servers and provide the flexibility to house both tower-style and rack-mount equipment.

APW operates more than 40 manufacturing plants across the globe - a major factor in KeyBridge's decision to contract with APW as its exclusive cabinet provider.

Security is an overriding consideration in all KeyBridge facilities, with physical access controlled by mantrap gates, guarded entrances and security passes, with customers accompanied at all times while on site.

To provide an effective key management solution each Paramount enclosure is fitted with a Mas Hamilton lock, a keyless self-powered combination unit, which operates totally independently from the centre's power supply.

The Paramount is also specially configured to provide maximum airflow through highly utilised racks; it offers cable pass-throughs in the verticals with a custom cable management capability developed specifically for KeyBridge's needs and the mounting rails are adjustable without tools.

KeyBridge manages its facilities from network operating centres located in London and Washington, DC, and provides a complete portfolio of managed services including, firewall, VPN, dedicated web hosting, website activity reporting, monitoring, data storage and managed floor space.
